About Women's Health West

CEO, Dr. Robyn GregoryDr. Robyn Gregory, CEO

Welcome to Women's Health West's website! I have been the CEO of this terrific organisation since February 2008, when I moved from my previous position as Manager of Health Promotion, Research and Development. Before coming to WHW I worked in women's health and women's services for many years, with experience spanning direct service delivery, research, teaching, policy development, project management and planning. I feel very privileged to be working with such a dynamic and committed group of colleagues.

As CEO I assist staff to work with and for women in the western region. This means looking at the big picture, as well as meeting women's immediate needs. That is, providing and improving access to excellent quality, appropriate and responsive services, while also working towards incrementally improving the status of women, giving women voice through our projects, programs and activities, and paying particular attention to the multiple factors that contribute to gender - and other - inequities. Our website outlines some of the fabulous work undertaken by our staff, working in partnership with the community and other services and organisations in the western region.

I hope that our website invigorates and inspires you to be as active as you can be within your own community - no matter how small your actions, by working together we can make big changes.
