About Women's Health West

Our Vision

Women's Health West works in partnership with women and a range of organisations to meet the social, emotional and physical health needs of women in our communities. We work to address the gender and structural inequalities that limit the lives of women through advocacy and knowledge-based social health action as well as the provision of women-focussed services and programs.

Women's Health West is a feminist organisation that:

Undertakes gendered research, needs identification, information provision, training and workforce development.
Influences population health planning and service development to promote ongoing responsiveness to the needs of women and their children.
Enhances service access through advocacy and systemic change.
Delivers innovative, responsive services that contribute to the evidence base for best practice.
