Bernadette's story

I have been a member of this women's group almost since its inception. The group gives every one of us permission to be ourselves. It did not matter whether I was on a high or a low I was accepted for being me. I have met many women through this group. I walked away for a time but then chose what was more important for me. The choice was to either work five days a week in my husband's business or work four and a half days and convince my husband that I was indeed working my allotted hours.

Once I came back into the group I realised there really was no choice because I craved this time for myself. Now I am a totally committed member of this wonderful group. I have seen the dramatic changes in the dynamics of the women. To me there is nothing more empowering than seeing someone gain confidence and self esteem as they begin to unfold. The person they thought they were is now this confident person who happily puts up their hand because they want to be counted.
