Domestic Violence and Incest Resource Centre
Statewide resource centre for information about domestic violence and sexual assault, providing training, publications, information, referral and links.

Aboriginal Family Violence Prevention and Legal Service
Direct support to Indigenous women and their families affected by family violence. They provide legal assistance, counselling, referral, training and advocacy.

No To Violence
Works with men to help them end their violent behaviour, including through phone counselling.

Partnerships Against Domestic Violence
Information on policy and projects funded by the Australian government, including research.

The Health Costs of Violence
VicHealth's groundbreaking study measuring the health impacts of Intimate Partner Violence.

Relationships Australia
General advice about relationships, some information about domestic violence, lists of Relationships Counselling services.

Lifeworks
Education and individual and family counselling to foster healthy relationships, groups for women and men and assertiveness training.

When Love Hurts
Online guide on love, respect and abuse in relationships for young women. Includes personal stories, information and support services.

Family Court of Australia
Family law information, including a guide for parents regarding children and separation, "your House and Money Matters", and information about defacto relationships.

Magistrates Court of Victoria
This site includes links to the Specialist Family Violence Court (under ‘Specialist Court Jurisdictions’) established in 2005, and other legal information, forms, links and resources.

Victoria Police Family Violence Unit
The role of the Family Violence Unit (FVU) is to work with central departments and geographical regions of Victoria Police to develop and implement strategies aimed at enhancing the police response to family violence.

Women’s Safety After Separation
Provides information for women and workers assisting women with children escaping abuse and violence. It covers: Family Law, Legal Aid, Domestic Violence, Emergency Contacts, Survival Strategies, Protection Orders, Child Protection, Research and Resources.

DV Vic is a peak advocacy organisation committed to the rights of women and children to live free of violence.

Office for Children (Department of Human Services)
Victorian State Government department site, with information about family violence and child abuse, child protection, resources, and other links.

Office of Women's Policy (Department of Victorian Communities)
Victorian State Government department site, with information about current Government policy on violence against women, including the Women’s Safety Strategy, and the report of the Statewide Steering Committee to Reduce Family Violence, ‘Reforming the Family Violence System in Victoria’.
